CPMG offers flexible, integrative solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) contractors, among others, and specializes in cybersecurity, information and operational technology, electronic security surveillance, and support services.

SUMMARY:

The Senior Applications Developer/Programmer will support the Surface Transportation Board (STB) by maintaining and enhancing the Uniform Railroad Costing System (URCS). URCS is a critical system used to estimate the variable costs associated with railroad movements. The role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of software development, system architecture, and data analysis, as well as the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the effective operation and improvement of URCS.
Responsibilities:

NECESSARY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Must have problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, organization skills, and initiative, communication.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on systems similar to URCS.
  • Pass a background investigation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    The salary range for this position is $107,000 to $159,000 per year.
