Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities, and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We currently have a full-time opportunity for a Senior Applications Developer. This role can be based out of one our main offices including: Stellarton, NS; Mississauga, ON; Calgary, AB.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND RESUME WILL SHOW US:

• An Undergraduate Degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or a College Diploma and a minimum of 7 years relevant experience.
• Strong experience in troubleshooting and support
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable in learning and understanding new technologies.
• Experience with software development and solution delivery methodologies including Scrum, Agile, and Lean.
• Strong experience in working with business in leveraging technology to meet business goals and requirements.
• Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team environment.
• Strong written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to be highly self-motivated and focused.
• Ability to pay keen attention to detail.
• Experience with Supply Chain and Logistics Warehouse Applications (Blue Yonder Transportation Management System, INFOR EXE Warehouse Management System, Blue Yonder Advanced Warehouse Replenishment an asset).
• Experience with AIX (and AS400 an asset).
• Experience with Database Systems and SQL Syntax (DB2, Oracle, Informix an asset).
• Experience with a variety of Scripting and Programming Languages (Korn Shell, PCL, 4gl an asset).
• Experience with SAP Retail (SAP S/4 an asset).Experience with Azure DevOps an asset.
