Senior Applications Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Applications Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in testing both Android and iOS applications and will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in testing Android and iOS applications.
• Strong understanding of test planning, design, and execution.
• Ability to analyze test results and troubleshoot issues.
• Experience with automated testing tools, specifically Appium.
• Proficiency in Java is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to advise project teams and business analysts.
• Strong organizational skills to manage test activities and ensure timely completion.

• Test Planning and Execution: Plan and undertake testing of new systems and system upgrades.
• Requirement Analysis: Understand and analyze testing requirements to prepare test plans and test designs.
• Design Advisory: Advise project teams on design considerations to facilitate the meeting of requirements. Provide guidance to business analysts and/or customers on testing requirements and test techniques.
• Test Environment Preparation: Prepare and ensure readiness of the test bed and test environment to carry out test execution.
• Test Execution: Execute tests in accordance with the test design.
• Result Analysis: Analyze test results and work with respective teams to resolve issues such as defect open and resolution rates, bottlenecks in performance, and other defects.
• Reporting: Prepare test reports for submission and provide regular test results updates.
• Automated Testing: Recommend and use automated testing tools where appropriate.
• Test Activity Management: Manage test activities and ensure the planned test activities are completed as scheduled.
