Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Collaborate with peer senior engineers, architects and subject matter experts on system and software architecture activities for the brand new energy management system.
- Prepare architecture and design documentation.
- Drive and be responsible for non-realtime application portion of the system.
- Lead a group of software engineers through design, development, integration and test activities.
- Set up software development and test infrastructure.
- Take active role in software development process: write, test and deploy own code as well as review others.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE
- 10+ years of experience building enterprise applications software solutions.
- 3+ years of experience architecting enterprise software solutions.
- Proven experience of translating non-technical requirements into software requirements.
- Broad exposure to application development stack (JS, TS, .Net, Python, etc.)
- Exposure to public cloud, on-prem and hybrid deployment architectures
- Excellent understanding of on or more public cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, Azure, CGP)
- Experience working with SQL and no-SQL databases.
- Experience leading a mid-sized software team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Agile process and willingness to work in Agile organization.
- Experience working with energy management systems or solar energy.
