Yucwmenlúcwu (Caretakers of the Land) LLP is a full-service Heritage, Environmental, and Forestry resource management company based in Enderby, BC. JOB KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:
- Minimum of a BA in archaeology or anthropology with a concentration in archaeology. An MA in archaeology is preferred.
- Minimum of five years’ experience conducting archaeological fieldwork including Archaeological Impact Assessments (AIA’s), excavations and archaeological surveys.
- An associate or professional member of the BCAPA (British Columbia Association of Professional Archaeologists).
- Must meet the requirements of the BC Archaeology Branch for Field Director section and be familiar with all policies and bulletins.
- Familiarity with the archaeology of the Interior Plateau, and able to hold a Heritage Conservation Act permit.
- Previous experience working with First Nations is an asset.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with writing and editing skills required for technical reports.
- Familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Class 5 Drivers License.
