QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A valid license to act as an Architect of Record in KSA.
  • Strong relationships with regulatory bodies and in-depth knowledge of local markets, regulatory controls, and permit application processes.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the point of contact with regulatory bodies, including the local municipality/NEOM urban planning, the roads department, the civil defense, and the utility authorities.
  • Conduct early-stage discussions with regulatory bodies to assess the feasibility of our project designs and obtain input on the requirements for obtaining permits and approvals.
  • Ensure that project designs are compliant with local regulations and codes, and defend the design when necessary.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including utility providers, to facilitate project approvals.
  • Coordinate with the design team and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of permit applications and approvals.
  • Maintain records of coordination meetings with NEOM for utilities demand approval.
  • Gather and maintain records of information, NOCs, and approvals for point of connection with the utilities system from all project stakeholders, including NEOM sectors.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure that project timelines and budgets are met.
  • Prepare and submit all necessary documentation required for permits and approvals.
  • Attend meetings with stakeholders to review project progress and obtain input.
  • Provide guidance to the design team on regulatory compliance and coordinate with other stakeholders to resolve any compliance issues that arise.
