Description:

Peak Ocean Group is seeking a senior architect design professional with experience on developing concept and basic design of several cruise ships.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture
  • Strong understanding of naval architecture principles and marine engineering concepts.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino, SolidWorks) and knowledge of marine design tools (e.g., GHS, MAXSURF, NAPA, ANSYS, FEMAP ).
  • Basic understanding of classification society rules and regulations (e.g., ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s Register).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Experience with cruise line engineering in Europe
  • Knowledge of marine terminology, systems, and regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supervising the development of detailed plans, drawings, and diagrams for a cruise line using computer-aided design software. Architecture Designer will work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the designs.
  • Assist in the design and development of ship structures and systems.
  • Perform stability and hydrostatic calculations.
  • Conduct structural analysis and finite element modeling.
  • Participate in design reviews and prepare technical documentation.
  • Mentor senior engineers and project teams to ensure project goals are met.
  • Support the development of technical drawings and specifications.
  • Assist in the evaluation of material selection and construction methods
