Description:
Peak Ocean Group is seeking a senior architect design professional with experience on developing concept and basic design of several cruise ships.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture
- Strong understanding of naval architecture principles and marine engineering concepts.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino, SolidWorks) and knowledge of marine design tools (e.g., GHS, MAXSURF, NAPA, ANSYS, FEMAP ).
- Basic understanding of classification society rules and regulations (e.g., ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s Register).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Experience with cruise line engineering in Europe
- Knowledge of marine terminology, systems, and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supervising the development of detailed plans, drawings, and diagrams for a cruise line using computer-aided design software. Architecture Designer will work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the designs.
- Assist in the design and development of ship structures and systems.
- Perform stability and hydrostatic calculations.
- Conduct structural analysis and finite element modeling.
- Participate in design reviews and prepare technical documentation.
- Mentor senior engineers and project teams to ensure project goals are met.
- Support the development of technical drawings and specifications.
- Assist in the evaluation of material selection and construction methods
