QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree within relevant fields
• Many years of experience in IT infrastructure roles
• Fluent in Norwegian and English

Skills & experience:

• Experience from working in a global IT organization.
• Technology & solution/service oriented.
• Very structured, with well written documentations. Comfortable presenting
• Self-driven and energetic, able to perform under pressure.
• Experience from establishing architecture infra. frameworks and principles.
• Architecture models on prem and Azure.
• Very experienced on compute (Windows and Linux).
• Very experienced on Kubernetes and containers.
• Very experienced with storage and backup solutions.
• Good network knowledge.
• Design and setup of data centers and data rooms globally.

The IT Infrastructure department is responsible for global infrastructure deliveries and operations in Statkraft. The department is part of a large IT organization with more than 150 employees delivering services in 19 countries from our own Data center’s and public cloud. Statkraft has been using cloud since 2015 and are now fully devoted moving most of our services to Azure.
Senior Architect Infrastructure and cloud will join an experienced hybrid infrastructure architecture team. The team deliver new innovative infrastructure architecture enabling business capabilities and services globally across the enterprise. Delivering strategy, technology directions and infra. platforms for the future.

Responsibility for:

• Domains such as compute, Kubernetes, storage & backup solutions, data centers, security and more.
• Developing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure architecture.
• Ensure that the infrastructure is secure, reliable, and scalable.
• Develop and maintain principles, frameworks and roadmaps.
• Provide technical guidance to other teams as needed.

You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and stay up to date with the latest trends. Delivering concepts and architecture to IT projects and collaboration with cross-functional teams is part of the role.
