JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Architectural Technologist will be a key member of the Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) Team. He/she will have notable design and technical experience in addition to the ability to communicate and engage with stakeholders, at all levels as required. With the ability to support the end-to-end project deliverables at all stages, the Senior Architectural Technologist will be integral to the delivery of high valued projects for our clients. The post-holder will be highly motivated to succeed in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

CANDIDATE REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Hold a qualification in Architectural Technology with 7+ years of post-qualification experience;
  • Proficiency is preferred in the following areas – BIM level 2, Autodesk Revit, Navisworks & AutoCAD.
  • Proficient in the preparation and lodgement of Planning Permissions, Fire Safety Certificates and Disability Access Certificates;
  • Proficient in the preparation of tender/construction drawings & specifications;
  • Experience as a lead designer, liaising with clients/contractors and conducting site inspections throughout all stages of the project;
  • Snagging and certification of completed works;
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and Design Standards, including BC(A)R;
  • Good technical knowledge of building processes and construction details;
  • Support and mentor junior technologists/graduates.
  • Excellent attention to detail is required.
  • Must be currently based in Ireland, hold a full valid driving licence, be eligible to work and take up a full-time hybrid working position in the coming weeks.
