Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Deputy Director, Operations, Planning & System, the candidate will be responsible for the business operations of the Patent Search, Examination & Analytics (SEA) Unit.
You will –
- Be responsible for business and operational excellence of internal and contracted processes through the management and continuous improvement of workflow and system
- Ensure business continuity and operational efficiency of internal and contracted processes and address issues when they arise
- Analyse data for reporting, capacity planning and process improvements
- Monitor unit’s productivity and quality performance to ensure targets are met
- Ensure optimal utilisation of resources
- Review whether internal controls are sufficient and effective to mitigate risks
- Lead a team and provide guidance to team members
- Lead studies and implement process improvement and innovation projects
- Support Deputy Director in unit’s planning for budget, capacity and performance
