Description:

NTU’s Student Affairs Office seeks to achieve its mission of collaborating and co-creating a meaningful and enriching student life experience with its partners by:

  • Promoting students’ personal growth through co-curricular learning arising from student-led activities, leadership development initiatives, residential hall programmes, inclusion and integration efforts, community engagement initiatives and sports.
  • Facilitating meaningful engagement among key stakeholders within and outside of the NTU community.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of initiatives that contribute to an inclusive and socially integrated NTU community.
  • Facilitate the adoption of inclusive and integration practices by student groups, as well as NTU units/departments.
  • Support the development and implementation of policies and practices which enhance inclusion.
  • Support students, by identifying relevant services required for both academic and non-academic activities.
  • Supervise junior staff in data collection, analysis and the preparation of management reports to meet MOE and NTU’s reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • A good Bachelor’s degree in a related field from a recognised university.
  • Domain knowledge on the integration and inclusion of international students and/or students with disabilities/special educational needs (SEN).
  • At least 6 years of experience in the youth and/or higher education sector.
  • Ability to conceptualise and implement initiatives at a strategic level, as well as support students at an individual level.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal), especially with diverse stakeholders.
