REQUIREMENTS:

The Senior Associate will be experienced in addressing business critical issues and will reflect the operational distinctiveness that is A&M; a business savvy, outcome focused business entrepreneur who is committed to making an impact, responsible for making a difference and not afraid to challenge the status-quo.

Candidates will have a proven understanding and passion for advisory and their skill set will include:

  • A consulting toolkit including framing business issues, judiciously finding and using internal and external data to test hypotheses and draw conclusions, developing business models using Excel and structuring and writing PowerPoint and Word presentations and reports;
  • The ability to work collaboratively as a core member of the team reviewing a client’s immediate and future issues and market position and develop actionable options for strategic and performance improvement. This could include Target Operating Model Design, IT Transformational programs, Enterprise Architecture and Strategic Cost Reduction;
  • The knowledge and skills to develop and implement commercial and cost-effective solutions across IT Supplier Performance Management, Global IT Sourcing and Business Process Outsourcing;
  • Clear ability to deliver the latest thinking within a highly competitive advisory marketplace & appreciation of the challenges that businesses face in today’s market.

Specifically, the successful candidate will have:

  • A successful track record in IT / Technology performance improvement at a top tier strategy or advisory firm;
  • Experience of working pre deal and post deal with PE firms and blue-chip corporates;
  • Proven ability to work in international teams and create measurable and identifiable improvements in Technology & IT;
  • Clear ability to deliver the latest thinking within a highly competitive advisory marketplace;
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines;
  • A very strong academic record including robust analytical rigour;
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to commit to tight deadlines;
  • Fluent business level English is essential. Additional European language skills including French, Spanish, Dutch, German or Italian are highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF THIS BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY SENIOR ASSOCIATE ROLE:

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join a ‘hands on’ Business Technology team. You will contribute to work streams on large programs but also smaller projects, leveraging your Digital & Technology knowhow and skill set in challenging the status quo and developing sound solutions either from an external point of view or in collaborative settings with your client organisation.
Alongside out broader EMEA DTS team colleagues and against a backdrop of unprecedented growth and promotions, an opportunity exists for us to strengthen our Business Technology team at the Senior Associate level in order to contribute to a growing and highly experienced Senior Management team. The successful appointee will play a key part in both project delivery and continued business development.

RESPONSIBILITIES AT SENIOR ASSOCIATE LEVEL:

As a Senior Associate, you will be working closely with world class colleagues in a flat team structure. You will be positioned and enabled to lead work streams, with constant exposure to CTO’s/CIO’s and -1/-2 reports, while leveraging the full breadth of senior experts across industry and functional domains across A&M. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate on a range of practice development efforts. These range from eminence building and marketing to amplify A&M’s perspective on digital disruptions and trends specific to each industry, to business development and asset building in the form of PoVs, pitches, offerings, models, and collateral co-created with an ecosystem of external partners and advisors.

You will specifically support the delivery of Business Technology, where identifying disruptive transformation levers and managing political complexity will be key to generate significant and sustainable savings. Responsibilities will not be limited to:

  • Successfully deliver major projects in such areas as; Pre-deal due diligence, Post deal Integration and Carve outs, Strategic IT planning; Product Technology; Enterprise Architecture; Business Intelligence; Target Operating Model Design; Customer Management Platforms; IT Transformation programmes; Enterprise Resource Planning; IT Supplier Performance Management; Global IT Sourcing; Business Process Outsourcing and Digital Disruption;
  • Be an action-oriented self-starter with strong analytical skills and entrepreneurial flair;
  • Have a strong exposure to senior clients and be able to deal with top executives in complex situation;
  • Be proactive in industry events e.g. conferences, forums, debates – ensure the Company is perceived as a key player in the Digital & Technology Transformation space.
