In this Senior Associate, Controls & Obligations Monitoring role, you will:

  • Independently undertake control design and operating effectiveness testing and validating linkages to process maps, risks, and obligations.
  • Deliver design and operating effectiveness workpapers to a high standard and within timelines.
  • Communicate and agree findings with business stakeholders, ensuring these findings are pragmatic and value adding.
  • Build relationships with business stakeholders and DCO teams and provide control advice where relevant.
  • Identify and timely escalation of any issues and provides potential solutions as required.
  • Coach peers and review work of other colleagues.

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in Audit, Assurance or Risk Management related roles preferably in Big 4 accounting firms or Financial Services institutions.
  • Ability to perform control design and operating effectiveness testing.
  • Strong working knowledge of assurance practices, standards, and risk implications.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage senior stakeholders and influence outcomes.
  • Strategic, delivery and outcome focus mindset.
  • Clear understanding and experience in testing automated controls / controls embedded in applications (highly regarded but not essential).
