Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Associate - Culinary Product Strategy, will join HelloFresh Group reporting to the Culinary Innovation Lead to support ongoing product launches across our brands.
The Senior Associate will bring a deep understanding of the needs of our customers and support the ideation of product solutions that fit their needs. They will stay ahead of food trends and understand how to translate them to our customers to help maintain each of our meal kit brands as leaders in the Culinary space.
Responsibilities:
- New Product Ideation and Culinary Strategy
- Work closely with Product Management to shape the product roadmap, supporting the development of commercially sound concepts that drive value for the customer.
- Facilitate key decisions around our ingredient database as they relate to new products, preferences, limited time offerings, cross-brand dependencies, and planning constraints
- Conceptualise ideation for limited time and partnership offerings, working closely with the Monetisation and Retail Media teams to optimize for business goals and to create cohesive and exciting offerings.
- Trend, Competitor and Supply-side Innovation Research
- Leverage industry data, publications, restaurants, social media, and consultation with Procurement stakeholders to keep on top of trends and innovation in the food space and their relevance to the HelloFresh customer.
- Ensuring the approach to product and ingredient ideation is industry-leading and data driven.
- Track trends and changes in the meal-kit and food-delivery markets and work with other teams to assemble reporting on the competitive landscape
- Develop strategies for continuously increasing the team’s knowledge and application of all insights in our workflows
- Cross-Functional Special Projects
- Support both brand-specific and cross-functional projects across the team by contributing to resource planning, providing feedback on deliverables, and leading process improvements.
- Identify new opportunities that are beneficial to both the business and our customers
