QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of undergraduate degree (or equivalent) preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics.
  • Demonstrated interest and knowledge for ESG and climate topics
  • Languages: English + either French or German is required; Italian or a Nordic language will be a plus

KEY SKILLS - TECHNICAL

  • IT skills including advanced Microsoft Office applications, PowerPoint and Advanced Excel
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, or equivalent Customer Relationship Management tool, is a plus
  • Familiarity with debt finance and sustainability is a clear plus

KEY SKILLS - NON TECHNICAL

  • Detail oriented

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

The Customer Engagement team is responsible for ensuring a seamless experience from the issuer request or Request for Proposal (RFP) to the Customer Onboarding for all Second Party Opinions (SPO) and Net Zero Assessments (NZA).
Reporting into the Head of Customer Engagement Team, this team is in charge of answering all RFPs and other requests under the responsibility of the ESG Relationship Managers. It will work closely with experienced sales professionals (Coverage and ESG Relationship Managers), supporting their activity to increase mandates and revenue on SPOs and NZAs, but also with all other internal stakeholders (analysts, legal, compliance, global middle office teams, etc). This team is the go-to experts, collecting information from across the company to meet the requirements of customers while executing on deadline and in line with our internal legal, finance, compliance, and technology standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Part of a team that provides crucial support to ensure premium delivery of customer service
  • Develop and own the process of delivering commercial proposals on SPOs and NZAs
  • Prepare material for RFPs, liaise with internal & external stakeholders to obtain accurate information, documentation and any required approvals
  • Work closely with key internal stakeholders e.g. Analysts, Middle Office, Legal, Compliance, Sales Operations, Billing/Collections team.
  • Maintenance of RFP records and library, including missed deals, and forward Commercial pipeline
  • Complete sales process admin and accurate tracking in Salesforce
  • Direct customer interaction when needed
