Senior Associate Grant Payment

  • Ownership of the end-to-end Grants processing and payment for the Asia-Pacific Region except China, Japan and India.
  • Ensure that all Grant Invoices have been approved, coded correctly, entered into the system and are paid on a timely basis.
  • Oversee the batching and scanning of Invoices into Shared point, system and any other storage device, including off site archive storage.
  • Principal point of contact for Grant Accounts Payable Issues.
  • Interact with Internal and External Auditors for Financial and Tax Audits relating to Grant payment.
  • Responsible for SOX, Local Tax Legislation and Compliance for Grants Processing and Payment
  • Process Grant EFT payments through online banking systems.
  • Respond to Grant accounts payable queries as required.
  • Ensure that Asia Pacific Grants Processing is compliant to SOX and local tax legislations
  • Make recommendations for process improvements relating to Grants processing and payment process.

Experience / Skills:

  • Required: 3 years minimum accounts payable experience including foreign currency transactions
  • Preferred:
  • Asia Pacific experience
  • 3 years minimum experience in using ERP Applications
  • Adaptability- flexibility; maintaining effectiveness while adjusting to a changing work environment, varying tasks, responsibilities and priorities
  • Attention to detail- total task accomplishment through concern for all aspects of the job involved, no matter how small. As a key transactional function, attention to detail is critically important.
  • Self-organization and independent. Able to work without significant task level supervision.
  • Customer Service Focus - focus on dealing with the Finance team’s customers is a priority
  • Policy monitoring- act as a ‘gate keeper’, ensuring approval limits and company policies have been adhered to which is paramount to the role
  • Computer literacy- experience in Microsoft Office and ERP Applications
  • Dedication to time constraints and timelines
