ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Senior Associate in Portfolio Management (L2), you play a critical role in our digital-native fund operations, leading efforts to optimise investment strategies in collaboration with third-party investment advisors. This position requires a strategic mindset, advanced analytical capabilities, and the ability to make informed decisions that influence our portfolio management direction. You oversee the entire investment process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, enhancing the firm’s investment governance framework.
This position is based in Luxembourg and reports directly to the Conducting Officer in charge of Portfolio Management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor investment compliance by setting up and reviewing investment restriction rules, including internal triggers, to prevent breaches as positions change.
  • Ensure all transactions align with the fund’s risk profile, fund documentation (LPA/PPM), and regulatory requirements (e.g., CSSF 18/698).
  • Oversee and coordinate the investment process, ensuring necessary documentation is collected and reviewed before payments (e.g., submit to Depositary Bank 48 hours in advance).
  • Organise and lead Investment Committee (IC) meetings, presenting strategic analyses and ensuring alignment with the fund’s objectives.
  • Review static data points of portfolio companies, financial information, and valuation data quarterly at the target fund level to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Ensure the assets of the funds align with their portfolio of investments and maintain updates based on IC decisions.
  • Assess and prepare the CSSF Art. 25 Form for reporting major holdings in private companies, coordinating submission via EDesk.
  • Conduct initial assessments of fund setups, ensuring alignment with fund objectives and compliance with relevant regulations.
