Corporate Transformation Services (CTS) as one of A&M’s core competencies advise clients in improving profitability targets and leading clients out of strategic and operational crisis situations in a sustainable manner.
A&M’s Operations, Supply Chain & Procurement professionals assist our clients in analyzing operations, supply chain and distribution channels for potential value creation opportunities and to help drive them during our client’s ownership. From our thorough fact-based analysis, we assess state of operations, identify key risks to investment and quantify potential EBITDA improvement plans for the buyer and seller. Advise clients in various industries (including automotive, manufacturing, IT, FMCG) optimize their purchasing/SCM organization and thus make a significant contribution to the positive economic development. A&M’s Procurement specialists not only advise but also negotiate directly with suppliers to strip out significant costs.

As a key member of our EMEA CTS Practice, you will focus on Operation, Supply Chain & Procurement at (Senior) Associate level and will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Conception and implementation of performance improvement measures in the production, engineering, maintenance, SCM, purchasing and logistics areas of the client
  • Optimization of value chains involving interdisciplinary teams
  • Supporting clients in the context of international transformation and turnaround projects
  • International projects focused on strategy, corporate structure or company-wide efficiency improvements

At best you already have the following qualifications:

  • Excellent academic credentials (Master’s degree or higher);
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a leading international strategy or management consultancy;
  • Additional industry experience is a plus;
  • A specific understanding of the key attributes of the category as well as Global supply options, routes to value and other related cost topics, sound knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles such as value stream mapping and value stream design, store floor management;
  • Ability to drive change management, facilitation, negotiation, and manage supplier relationships effectively;
  • Data analysis (turning raw data into business insights and intelligence);
  • Robust financial experience and analytical rigor;
  • Business fluency in German and English is essential, additional European language skills are more than welcome.
