SENIOR ASSOCIATE, TAX ADVISORY
Our client, a top Canadian accounting firm, has over 40 years of experience supporting public companies across a variety of industries
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience in a senior tax role.
- CPA designation complete or in progress; pursuing the CPA in-depth tax program or MTAX is a strong asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Client service experience is a plus.
- Fluency in additional languages is an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Research tax-related issues and analyze potential impacts.
- Assist in developing tax-planning strategies and review complex tax returns.
- Collect and evaluate financial and tax data for compliance and planning purposes.
- Collaborate on engagement timelines, risk assessments, and project documentation.
- Identify discrepancies in tax filings and assist in preparing election forms.
- Support business development efforts by identifying new client opportunities.
