Responsibilities:
The Dunedin property & private client team form part of a national property practice, led by Partners Vanessa Robb and Sharon Knowles, this well-established team of over 20 lawyers undertake a wide variety of high-level complex private client and property work for a number of premium clients across New Zealand.
The private client team deliver agreements for joint venture farming entities, finances and ownership structures of farming businesses, portfolio management, and provide expert advice on all aspects of the establishment and administration of trusts, restructuring and resettlement of existing asset and business planning structures, family property and succession matters. The property team deliver commercial leasing, property sales and purchases matters and provide expert property advice to local city councils and infrastructure owners.
While this role predominantly undertakes private client work as their key areas of expertise, the team are well connected and engage collaboratively to support both the property and private client work streams to effectively deliver results for our clients.
If you have over 7 years’ practical experience in either private client or property law, exceptional levels of self-awareness and interpersonal skills, a proven ability to build strong, influential relationships based on trust, are highly responsive, organised and able to manage a wide variety of tasks, then we would love to hear from you.
