- 5+ years’ experience as a commercial lawyer working with government clients

Responsibilities:
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Associate to join our high-performing Public Law - Commercial team in Canberra. You will be working closely with pre-eminent partners in a leading national firm. Our team has a strong reputation for providing exceptional legal services to government clients.
You will be joining a cohesive and friendly team which goes above and beyond to support each other to produce work of first class excellence. In addition, you will be working with highly creative lawyers who are often market leaders in new areas of technology commercial work, such as cloud services and AI.
You will primarily be advising Australian government clients on a broad range of exciting ICT, government procurement and contracting, and commercial matters with a strong focus on ICT projects. You will work on some of the most complex, high value, interesting, and nationally significant projects undertaken by governments. We are therefore looking for someone to help us to provide pragmatic and solutions-focussed ICT, procurement, commercial advice, and high quality contract drafting to government agencies. You will have a key role in supervising other lawyers in the team, contribute to business development activities, and generally support the partners in a genuine, innovative, and collaborative team environment.
