About the role
Our Melbourne Real Estate team are currently recruiting a Senior Associate, working closely with Simone Menz, Emily Masters and Andrew Barrett, you will work across complex real estate projects and developments, structuring of real estate investments and large scale sales and acquisitions and also have exposure to Property Finance.
The team is known as one of the best in the Australian market. We work with many of the key players in the Australian real estate industry, including institutional and private investors, listed property trusts and developers and financiers of real estate and infrastructure projects.
One of the things we pride ourselves on is not pigeonholing lawyers. You will work across the full spectrum of services we provide, from advising on risk allocation on complex projects, to running sales and purchases of large assets.
You will have

  • excellent analytical, communication and research skills - to deliver prompt and commercially astute advice

  • first rate experience of drafting documents

  • strong commitment to client service and well-developed relationship management ability
  • you will play a key role in supporting and actively developing our relationships with our clients

  • team focus - to mentor junior colleagues and ensure the effective utilisation of the group

  • enthusiasm to be involved in business development activities – assisting with pitches and managing strategic relationships and networks

You will have recognised experience gained in a similar environment and enjoy working as part of a committed team.
