Our team
Real estate is at the heart of Eversheds Sutherland’s business and forms approximately a quarter of our firm’s work. We have one of the largest full service real estate teams of any global law practice and consistently ranked in directories worldwide. We apply real estate services to our clients’ needs across the firm’s sectors including Consumer, Financial Services, Education, Energy, Industrials, TMT, Health and Life Sciences and Real Estate.
Role and key responsibilities

The successful candidate will become part of established client teams, acting for a wide number of occupier and investor clients. You will have day-to-day conduct of matters and take an active role in managing client relationships as well as carrying out business development.

  • Ideally we are looking for a solicitor with a minimum of 4 years’ PQE but we are happy to hear from any candidates who can demonstrate the skills and experience required.
  • You can expect a diverse, challenging and rewarding workload in a progressive and thriving team.
  • The role will give you exposure to high quality work for clients across our team and across our offices nationally.
  • You will have wide-ranging commercial property experience, particularly in the areas outlined above.
  • Ensures proper processes are followed in relation to client and matter opening, seeks to ensure the smooth running of matters in accordance with good practice
  • Works at both a strategic and operational level with clients
  • Delivery exceeds client’s expectations and seeks opportunities to provide innovative solutions
  • Leads the day-to-day contact with clients and is an active participant in the client service team for a sector priority client, or Top Tier client relationship
  • Coaches, motivates, provides developmental feedback for the team

Skills and experience
In order to be successful, the applicant must be able to meet client needs, both from a commercial and technical perspective and build exceptional relationships with internal and external contacts. They will have good communication and influencing skills together with technical skills and knowledge. They will enjoy working as part of a team but be equally able to manage their own matters efficiently and promptly.
