The team
Our award winning national corporate team which is consistently ranked as one of the UK’s top law firms for deal volume by Experian MarketlQ’s M&A Review, is led by a team of partners widely regarded as leaders in their field who are regularly recommended by clients for their reputation, personalities and outstanding expertise.
We advise companies, management teams, investors and debt providers through the business life cycle, from start-up and first round finance through to M&A, management transactions, venture and growth capital, restructuring, capital reductions, private equity funding and exits, with an increasing amount of internal work for high profile clients. We also have a growing practice advising listed clients on equity capital raisings on public markets.
The role
In line with the firm’s strategic focus, our corporate division is enjoying a period of significant and sustained growth and we have an opportunity for a Corporate Senior Associate (or equivalent) in our award winning Leeds Team.
This is an ideal platform if you are looking for an enviable mix of top-drawer corporate work for excellent clients, providing a platform and development structure for you to carve a specialism for the future. The role will see you take ownership of some transactions as well as working alongside a Partner as part of a local or national team on larger or more complex deals. Mentoring and developing junior associates will also be a vital part of your role.
We pride ourselves in providing the best client experience and you will be encouraged to take part in, and at times take ownership of a variety of client and BD activities from the outset. This role is an excellent platform to assume responsibility and be part of an ambitious and expanding team which wants to continue its growth trajectory.
As a people centric firm, we invest heavily in developing our people by providing an engaging and sociable working environment, with mentoring, coaching and a bank of learning opportunities available. We welcome enthusiastic and committed team players who should thrive in our open and supportive culture.
