My client is seeking a talented Senior Structural Engineer with minimum 7+ years industry experience and demonstrated work within the Australian market. Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
As an Associate / Senior Structural Engineer your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not be restricted to:
- Preparation of concept and schematic designs for a variety of structures, overseeing the project from concept through to site completion.
- Undertaking detailed analysis, design computations, overseeing preparation of documentation, and assisting with site phase delivery.
- Peer review of detailed calculations, technical reports, and design concepts.
- Co-ordination of designs with other project team consultants, architects, and clients.
- Financial oversight of projects under your direction.
- Developing and maintaining a schedule for assigned work scope and associated deliverables
- Conduct site inspections to monitor works undertaken and check conditions.
- Maintain a knowledge and understanding of trends and technology in structural engineering.
- Provide leadership and technical direction for engineering elements of projects undertaken by the company.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Worked previously in a similar role with a minimum of 8+ years experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- CPEng - must have for Associate level
- A proven track record of successful planning, concept and detailed designs of varied projects
- Strong technical skills and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and nurture internal and external relationships
- Experience working within a challenging environmen
