Responsibilities:

AS A MEMBER OF THIS TEAM, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Support and coordinate the implementation of Oxford’s decarbonization strategy, aiming to reduce energy use and emissions for existing buildings and new developments and contribute to the overall transition plan
Manage external consultants and provide reports on-ongoing basis for decarbonization project planning
Provide technical support and guidance for asset management/property management teams for decarbonization study delivery, as well as design and implementation co-ordination for decarbonization, energy efficiency, sub-metering, renewable energy and solar projects and associated incentive applications where applicable
Support the ongoing maintenance and delivery of Oxford’s ESG data platform and carbon emissions forecasting model, developing new analytics and insights capabilities across our global portfolio
Deliver education and training of team members in other business units to enable the implementation of decarbonization projects
Establish and improve methods for the measurement and verification of reductions

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree: mechanical, electrical, civil engineering or similar, environmental science. Master’s degree, or industry accreditation i.e. Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP), CCP (Certified Commissioning Professional), or professional designation I.e. Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) considered an asset
4-7 years’ experience in a technical energy management role, with focus on various asset classes (i.e. industrial, office, retail, multi-family, hotels) and proven record of energy and emissions reductions
High degree of proficiency in GHG emissions accounting, energy metering, energy management in real estate, decarbonization planning and project implementation, engineering project management, financial modelling and or forecasting
High Proficiency in Microsoft Suite - Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI (data modelling and visualization), experience using or working with data from cloud-based ESG reporting software.
Skills: communication, presentation, strategic thinking, effective project management skills of complex projects with many internal and external stakeholders, collaborative, team player
