This position is part time eligible with min. 80%.
REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s degree in fields such as computer science or mathematics, coupled with several years of IT experience, or a bachelor’s degree complemented by extensive relevant work experience
- An analytical mindset, that enables easy navigation through complex IT system landscapes
- Understanding of the whole technology stack: hardware, hypervisor, OS, hyperscaler, networking, interfacing, development up to containerization. Willingness to learn is a must
- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical product lifecycle processes and experience in a regulated environment (GxP)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both German and English
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR SENIOR SYSTEM ENGINEER:
- Several years of relevant working experience in integration architecture, development, designing and implementing solutions
- Expertise in leading a project team and taking over project manager responsibility, gathering and refining requirements and coordinating between business stakeholder and technical delivery team
- Outstanding ability to solve problems and collaborate effectively, coupled with strong communication and a customer-focused approach
Responsibilities:
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- In your new role, you will be at the heart of global development projects, taking charge of planning, defining, and implementing technical architecture.
- Your passion for IT systems, technologies, and system interfaces will shine as you bridge the gap between business ideas and solutions.
- You will play a leading role in developing concepts and projects for software solutions, contributing innovative ideas and expanding technical expertise.
- Lastly, you will have end-to-end responsibility for maintaining and continuously improving processes & systems in your area throughout their lifecycle.
AS SENIOR SYSTEM ENGINEER, YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING ADDITIONAL TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In your new role, you will drive new solution discussions, serving as the primary coordinator, bridging the gap between the product team, business stakeholders, and the technical team on system design questions.
- Furthermore, you will lead the architecture for products, orchestrating the implementation from design to go-live, ensuring a seamless transition.
- As a technical leader, you will explore, assess, and recommend new technologies, contributing significantly to Boehringer Ingelheim’s strategic direction. Your insights and expertise will be instrumental in shaping our technological landscape.
