Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining the audit risk assessment and risk-based audit plan for the relevant portfolio, and for executing the associated audit plan ensuring engagement quality, raising the issues that matter, and developing strong stakeholder relationships whilst maintaining independence.
  • Leading the execution of audits for the relevant LoB, personally executing complex review activities or testing that requires higher levels of judgement and expertise.
  • Lead the socialisation of all audit outcome messages for the portfolio with Senior Stakeholders up to GM and at times GE level
  • Ensuring that appropriate remediation testing is performed by Group Audit once audit issues have been addressed by Management
  • Producing required reporting to relevant forums
  • Continuous maintenance of the audit universe for the Financial Crime portfolio, including determining the risk and control effectiveness rating
