We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Auditor to join our Enabling Units Audit team. The purpose of this role is to deliver the Audits, assist in the identification of Risks and to test key controls. You will support the planning, execution, and reporting of a small simultaneous portfolio of Audit activity as set out in the Audit Charter and the annual Audit Plan. Audit projects will also delve into the realm of Environmental Social and Governance.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

  • Driving delivery of quality audit workpapers, including walkthroughs, control identification, control design assessments and control operating effectiveness testing.
  • Analysing and verify audit raised issues within internal SLA targets once the business indicate issues are complete, supported by quality workpapers.
  • Providing timely feedback and coaching to colleagues to promote a performance and development culture.
  • Proactively form outstanding relationships with business stakeholders to facilitate delivery of audits and contribute to audit’s annual plan creation and update.
  • Planning and project managing delivery of audits within agreed resource and timeframe constraints.
  • Drafting succinct and clear audit assignment plans that reflect agreed scope.
  • Proactively managing risk; meet all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to Process and Procedures pertinent to role; and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified.

NOTE: ALL NAB COLLEAGUES ARE ENCOURAGED TO HAVE A MINIMUM OF 18 MONTHS TENURE IN THEIR CURRENT ROLE.
