Job description
We are currently seeking an experienced Automation Engineer F/M/X to lead internal automation projects for buildings, production, and infrastructure facilities. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background in various automation systems, project management experience, and the ability to work hands-on with systems like DeltaV, Simatic, and SCADA. Fluency in German is required, as this is an on-site role in Muttenz, starting as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage automation projects related to building infrastructure, production, and facilities.
- Develop and implement control and visualization systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Coordinate external resources to maintain and optimize electrical and automation systems.
- Create and optimize DeltaV recipes, including programming and commissioning activities.
- Troubleshoot automation systems and provide on-site support to resolve issues.
- Maintain and improve the alarm management system to ensure optimal performance.
- Mentor and train junior automation engineers to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.
