As we continue to enhance and expand our capabilities, we are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer who shares our passion, drive, and energy – what we call Genki – to join our team.

The current organization in Hillerød is approximately 1700 employees and will grow significantly as we invest DKK 6 billion in capacity and capability expansions over the coming years. The site will over the coming years receive new molecules for production where the support organization including IT and Automation plays a significant role in the transfer of molecules to the site.
About the role

You will be part of the Hillerød Site Automation team, and responsible for the following:

  • Automation lead on tech transfer processes to bring in new products and the related changes required to the Automation Systems.
  • Configuration of DeltaV procedural & physical model.
  • Manage scope and vendor deliverables from a technical point of view.
  • Ensure the automation solution is fit for purpose for the processes.
  • Support daily manufacturing and supporting teams.
  • Understand the process requirements and implement a robust solution in collaboration with stake holders.
  • Work as per defined procedures and ensure a validated state for automation systems.

Your qualifications

You have

  • An academic degree within engineering or similar
  • Experience from the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • Knowledge of batch processes, GMP, GAMP and the S88 standard
  • Ability to work under short timelines within a manufacturing environment
  • Collaborative attitude with the willingness to work with partners in other countries
  • Ability to organize personal tasks

About the area and department
Our Automation department is part of the area called Process Technology.
Process Technology is a group of +100 employees that includes 5 departments: Automation, Process Engineering, Validation, Engineering Science and CAD services.
We provide support to site-wide projects by offering our expertise as Automation, Process and Validation Engineers and we maintain overall responsibility for ensuring smooth daily operation including engineering technical leadership, and engineering technical support for all cell culture, purification, and pharmaceutical processing equipment.
The Automation department is responsible for the automation systems used on the site and for implementing changes to support the new products being produced. The department is also responsible of implementing minor and major expansion projects on the site and for changes targeting robustness and optimization as part of the operational support.
You will join an automation team of highly skilled colleagues, where we try to have the right balance between work and private life, and where we meet for social events outside Fujifilm.
