Responsibilities:
- System Design and Development: Design and develop automation solutions using 800xA Batch Management DCS.
- Manufacturing Support: Provide technical support, diagnose and resolve issues and implement preventive and corrective actions.
- Validation and Testing: Develop and implement validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) and perform system testing (Commissioning/FAT/SAT).
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process optimization and automation improvements and stay updated with the latest advancements in automation technology and industry trends
- Safety and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders to align automation solutions with business objectives. Communicate with vendors and contractors for procurement and installation.
- Training and Mentorship: Train and support operators and technical staff, and mentor less experienced team members
- System Integration: Integrate DCS with PLCs, MES, and ERP systems ensuring seamless communication and data exchange.
- Project Management: Lead and manage automation projects. Coordinate multi-functional teams including process engineers and quality assurance. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely delivery of project.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain documentation and system validated state according to Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP5). Develop and update standard operating procedures and work instructions.
