- Advanced Automation Development: Drive the development and maintenance of PLC/SCADA software for state-of-the-art baggage and materials handling systems.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation ensuring the seamless functioning and maintenance of our systems.
- Test Procedures and Commissioning: Develop test procedures and conduct on-site commissioning of systems, often in international locations.
- Technical Support and Design Contributions: Provide support for existing systems and actively contribute to application and component design.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
To excel in this role, you should bring:
- PLC/SCADA Automation Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of experience with a strong understanding of various vendors and technologies.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Relevant Field: Degree in software/electrical/computer systems/mechatronics engineering is required.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to develop PLC, HMI, and SCADA Software solutions using a variety of vendors and technologies.
- IT and Technical Knowledge: Understanding of networks, operating systems, distributed computing, and application development.
- Clear Communication: Ability to present complex technical data in an insightful, succinct, and professional manner.
- Previous experience with baggage or material handling systems is preferred but not required.
- Travel will be a requirement for this role, both international and domestic.
