The Opportunity:
As an Automated Quality Assurance Engineer, you will become an integral part of our QA team, focusing on the creation and enhancement of our automated testing processes. Your role will involve both the strategic development of our automation approach and hands-on work with our existing Cypress test suite. You will have the chance to mentor and develop the QA team’s automation skills, enabling a shift towards more efficient testing methodologies.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain a strategic automation testing framework that aligns with our Greenfield Platform’s goals.
- Work collaboratively with the QA Lead to identify the most effective automation tooling and test plans.
- Mentor and upskill the QA team to expand their automation capabilities.
- Maintain and enhance our existing Cypress test pack, ensuring its relevance and functionality.
- Engage with stakeholders across the company to ensure automation efforts are clearly communicated and understood.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in automated testing, including AI, to continuously improve our processes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in automated testing, ideally across multiple projects and in various industries
- Demonstrated expertise in Cypress or similar automation tools, with a willingness to explore and adopt new technologies.
- A proactive mentor with the ability to enhance the team’s automation skills.
- Strong communication skills, comfortable with engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with test management tools such as Azure Test Plan.
