ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced, professional, and energetic Azure Cloud Architect to our growing team. You will have a solid background in building enterprise-grade Azure infrastructure to support 99.99% SLA in a highly available, 24/7, public-facing Linux environment. As an Azure Cloud Architect you will work closely with the Client Services and Product teams to ensure SaaS Operations can exceed SLA, resiliency, and reliability objectives for our client. The role is designed for a cloud architect expert who can not only triage and prioritise when necessary, but also has a strong sense of responsibility and ownership and can drive a complex problem to completion. This role will be based in Wellington.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As an Azure Cloud Architect you will:
- Analyse, design, document, and build our next-gen operations and deployment infrastructure
- Advocate for and apply best design practices when it comes to availability, scalability, operational excellence and efficiency
- Deploy and enhance components of our ecosystem such as Container Services, Load Balancers, Firewalls, monitoring and alerting tools, etc
- Serve as the subject matter expert for all things Azure Cloud
- Maintain ongoing improvement of processes, and best practices to meet security, cost and agility requirements
- Contribute to and maintain design and process documentation
- Continually seek opportunities to improve SLA/Uptime and minimize customer impacts
- Understand, champion, and enforce security and compliance policies and procedures
