Your role
Join a team of seasoned developers that work within and across Corpay’s technology stack, to deliver effective solutions and products to both external clients/suppliers and colleagues across all applications. You will be troubleshooting and employ methodical diagnostic skills to resolve issues restore service and ensure root causes are fixed. In addition to this, you will be working directly with business analysts and IT professionals, exercising sound judgment within defined best practices, engaging with the business with the highest levels of professionalism and integrity.
What you’ll be doing

What you will be doing with us:

• Be a Team Player
• Develop source code in C#, .NET and Object Orientated Design.
• Working on a daily basis with SQL Server, Relational Database Management Systems Design.
• Operating with an awareness of the impact that the work of a Junior Software Engineer may have on-going projects for a particular client, ensuring that suitable communication/updates are sent to relevant stakeholders
• Operating with a high attention to detail and quality in development and testing practices.
• Undertaking debugging and troubleshooting software-related issues in a timely manner.
• Developing a keen knowledge and understanding of the GFN system, to enhance it’s capability.
• Producing BAU or support coding changes as required, for example to resolve non-project defects, improve service by utilising both strong analytical and development skills

Requirements:

• Comfortable working with an existing code base
• 4+ years of experience working with C#
• In-depth .NET knowledge (experience with .NET 7 would be a plus)
• Experience creating and maintaining REST APIs
• Familiarity with agile environments
• Experience with asynchronous programming
• Experience with message brokers for high volume data processing between systems
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Living in Europe or CET time zone
• Comfortable working remotely and communicating via camera / microphone over tools such as Zoom

Extra bonus points for the following (not required):

• Development on SaaS systems and startup experience
• Experience with ERPs and accounting software
• Cosmos DB/DynamoDB experience
• Experience with GraphQL, Hangfire, and/or Aurora (MySQL)
