Senior Backend Developer

As a Back-End Developer at Watermelon, you focus on ensuring the stability and reliability of our AI messaging systems together with implementing new API’s.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• You must already have the legal right to work in the EU, as we cannot support relocation from outside the EU or visa sponsorship.
• Experience with Go, Python, and some PHP
• You are proficient in English
• Front-End experience is a plus.
• You have at least 5 years of experience as a Back-End Developer.
• You have worked in a B2B SaaS environment before
• You are openminded and remain hungry to learn more about your job
• You hold a Bachelor’s degree, such as in Computer Science.
• You are enthusiastic to work in an international environment.

• Operating in a fast-paced Continuous Integration & Deployment environment.
• Working in GitHub and writing automated tests to ensure high code quality.
• Assisting colleagues and yourself through pull requests, code reviewing, and pair programming.
• Monitoring platform performance and analyzing ways to enhance it.
• Contemplating technical choices, such as architecture, tools, and processes.
