SENIOR BACKEND DEVELOPER AT ZERONORTH

At ZeroNorth, we’re driven by a mission to make global trade greener and more sustainable. We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our Operator business unit and play a crucial role in our journey towards a greener planet.
As part of our team, you’ll leverage your skills in backend development to optimise operational efficiency and reduce the environmental impact of maritime operations.

• Develop and maintain key backend software solutions in our Operator business unit to drive efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
• Build applications primarily in Python or Golang, with occasional work in C#.
• Collaborate across teams to design scalable, robust systems aligned with our sustainability mission.
• Modernize existing data processing pipelines, applying strong data architecture and engineering practices.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure (primarily on AWS) and implement infrastructure-as-code for streamlined scalability.
• Leverage DevOps tools and containerization to enhance automation and system resilience.
