Senior Backend Engineer (Kotlin/Microservices/Azure)

As a Senior Backend Engineer you will help rebuild our traditional tech into a modern cutting-edge technology landscape (Microservices, Kotlin, Cloud Azure).
You will be joining our Supply Chain execution cluster. This cluster is responsible for the physical delivery of goods from the distribution Centers to the stores. All this while ensuring 24*7 uptime on mission critical environments. So, your work will have a great impact on the daily lives of our customers.

YOUR NEW TEAM AND OFFICE:

You will join our Supply Chain Execution cluster which exists out of our Warehouse team and Transport team. This cluster is responsible for the physical delivery of goods from the distribution Centers to the stores. The IT landscape includes (to list a few) the warehouse management systems, transport delivery and settlement applications and the physical devices in the DCs like hand scanners, bluetooth headsets, display tablets etc. We are currently moving our legacy tech stack (Oracle PL-SQL to a more modern tech stack (Kotlin). Our teams work in a hybrid way: both from home as well as in the office. We are located right next to the train station of Zaandam.
