Who are we looking for?

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in backend development
• Proficiency in NodeJS and Sequelize ORM
• Experience with GraphQL and Sentry
• Familiarity with RDS MySQL/Postgres/Aurora SQL
• Experience with AWS Serverless Components (Lambda, CloudFront, CloudWatch Alerts, SNS, SES)
• Knowledge of Jest and Unit Testing
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Advanced level of spoken and written English

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer with expertise in NodeJS and AWS Lambda to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of our backend systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure backend solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain backend systems using NodeJS and associated technologies
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code;
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices;
• Optimize applications for performance across various devices and browsers;
• Stay updated on emerging back-end technologies and best practices.
