Description:

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Senior Benefits Specialist in New York, New York. This role is essential in our team, focusing on various benefit functions and cost analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing applications, and resolving inquiries.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process benefit applications in a timely manner
  • Monitor and manage customer accounts, ensuring appropriate action is taken when necessary
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all customer interactions
  • Resolve customer inquiries and issues efficiently and professionally
  • Conduct cost analysis to ensure optimal utilization of resources
  • Develop and maintain templates for efficient and consistent documentation
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and changes to ensure compliance
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on benefit options and packages to customers.
  • Proficient in Benefit Functions and related administrative tasks
  • Proven ability in Cost Analysis and budgeting
  • Experience in creating and managing Templates for various functions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Relevant professional certification, such as Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), is a plus
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role or in the field of benefits administration.
