Description:

As a Staff BI Engineer you will design, develop, and maintain BI solutions as part of the Data platform-Data delivery team. You will be part of a growing team to develop and mature IAS’ capability in video ad verification, analytics and anti ad fraud software products.

What you’ll get to do:

  • Architect, design, code and maintain dashboards, models, queries on Looker connecting to Databricks / Snowflake / S3
  • Work with business users, product owners, data scientists and engineers, front end teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements
  • Contribute to the entire software lifecycle including hands-on development, code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation on data models, queries, dashboards
  • Provide leadership, work collaboratively, support on how to use BI tools, and be a mentor in an awesome team
  • Stay up to date with the latest on BI technologies and trends

You should apply if you have most of this:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 7+ years of recent hands-on experience in BI development (Looker /Tableau/PowerBI or something similar)
  • In-depth understanding of Looker, PowerBI / similar tools
  • Solid experience in building dashboards and visualizations
  • Strong understanding of SQL, Data modeling and ETL
  • Strong knowledge of various data formats such as Parquet, JSON, CSV, Avro

    Experience using Big Data frameworks and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Databricks), databases (e.g., RedShift, Snowflake) for complex data assembly and transformation Experience in full software development, Agile, and CI/CD

  • Experience building production level systems in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure or GCP)

  • Excellent communication, presentation skills along with problem solving and analytical skills

What puts you over the top:

  • Looker certification
  • Familiarity with Databricks and Snowflake
  • Experience with JDBC and SQL
