Due to the nature of work that Sonic Healthcare UK undertakes, our clients require that Employees filling certain roles, need, as part of their on-boarding to complete a DBS Check. This role falls in to the category of requiring a DBS check (standard)

There is an exciting opportunity within Health Services Laboratories department of Clinical Biochemistry located at the Royal Free Hospital, to recruit a Senior Specialist Biomedical Scientist (BMS). If you would like to be involved in shaping the future of the pathology services at HSL and are HCPC Registered with a Biomedical Science Degree or equivalent and a Post graduate qualification of MSc, FIBMS or equivalent you are invited to apply.
You must have demonstrable experience of working as a Specialist Biomedical Scientist in a Biochemistry Laboratory. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the routine Clinical Biochemistry section and play an integral part in introducing new methodologies and technologies and taking the section forward in the new state of the art Rapid Response Laboratory (RRL). The Clinical Biochemistry service is a busy service undertaking many complex analyses and providing specialist services which include, renal and liver transplantation amongst other specialities.
