Ken Herbert & Co Ltd are certified public accountants and tax consultants based in Kildare with over 30 years experience providing personal accounting services. We are looking for an ambitious bookkeeper looking for a new role in a local firm, where you can grow, be challenged and progress to a higher level. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Daily bookkeeping and building strong relationships with a large variety of clients
  • Completion of accurate and timely management information
  • Assisting in the production of monthly accounts and reports
  • Reconciliation balance sheet and P&L accounts
  • Preparation and posting journals for payroll, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets etc.
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly supplier payments
  • Accounts payable with expenses and credit cards
  • Accounts receivable and credit control

About you:

  • 3+ years general bookkeeping experience
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
