Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Our fantastic Brand team currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Brand Executive to join us in our Bristol office. The team sits within the wider Commercial and Communications function. We`re passionate about all things brand and how we can elevate the Unite Students brand and any sub-brands to be first-in-class in our markets, grow our brand equity and ultimately deliver an amazing branded experience to our prospective customers, customers and partners.
Reporting to the Brand Manager, the Senior Brand Executive will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Unite Students brand(s), acting as our brand guardian and ensuring that the brand is consistently and appropriately represented across all of our customer and stakeholder channels and touch points.

WHAT YOU`LL BE DOING

  • Managing the day-to-day brand queries and requests from across the organisation, from our local city teams to our central support functions.
  • Developing tools, assets and templates to help teams to be on-brand.
  • Owning our new brand portal - a self-service portal for employees and external stakeholders - and being responsible for the ongoing education, management of content/assets and regular reporting and analysis to identify where improvements can be made.
  • Educating our internal colleagues on how to use the brand codes, guidelines and assets.
  • Owning our Tone of Voice (TOV). Ensuring that TOV is consistent across the organisation through guidance and education of colleagues and external agencies.
  • Reviewing and finessing copy written by colleagues to reflect our TOV and writing copy to promote brand initiatives internally and externally.
  • Working closely with our internal designers, ensuring that our visual style and product design style are correctly implemented.
  • Supporting the Brand Manager with the brand audit and compliance programme, ensuring that our brand standards are being met and coming up with a plan to rectify any discrepancies.
  • Supporting the Brand Partnership Manager by acting as the first line contact for incoming partnership and sponsorship requests and engagement. Helping identify brands that could enhance our core student offer.
  • Supporting the Brand Partnership Manager to ensure that any co-branding with third party organisations is appropriately reflecting the Unite Students brand(s).
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders, such as the Sales and Marketing teams, and external suppliers, such as creative agencies or print suppliers, to provide brand guidance and direction.
