Reporting to the Senior Manager, NA Brand Marketing, this role will be a key contributor to driving growth for the North American business and building brand equity in our largest market. As an experienced marketer, this role provides leadership across all marketing channels and brand creative, bringing to live innovative integrated campaigns that deliver on business and brand objectives.
This Senior Brand Marketing Manager role will be focused on driving initiatives that bring our Impact Agenda (Be Well, Be Human and Be Planet) to our guest across integrated touch points. They will lead our NA Awareness Day Strategy, bringing forward our commitment to IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Action) to life through key relationships, community activations and human storytelling.
The Senior Brand Marketing Manager will build strong relationships across the organization to drive forward initiatives, with expert understanding on how to execute large scale brand marketing and social impact campaigns that drive meaningful ROI and reinforce our leadership role in advancing equity in wellbeing.

what you’ll do

  • In close collaboration with cross-functional partners such as IDEA and the lululemon Centre for Social Impact, lead strategy and execution of guest-facing NA Awareness Day moments, including and not limited to: Black History Month, Earth Day, Pride, National Indigenous History Month, and World Mental Health Day.
  • Build localized marketing plans to deploy global and regional initiatives across the North American market, including and not limited to merchandising, ecommerce, retail, digital marketing, community, social and PR channels.
  • Manage and coordinate the integrated, cross-functional go-to-market process for impact initiatives to bring brand and product stories to life from brief to concept development to final execution.
  • Define business objectives and develop briefs, communication plans, deliverables, and creative concepts.
  • Understand and evaluating market landscape, competitor activities and category opportunities.
  • Work with key cross-functional partners to deliver best in class channel experiences.
  • Manage stakeholders and keep leadership enrolled to marketing plans.
  • Accountable to set and drive key KPI’s as well as measure, report and socialize results and learnings.
  • Responsible for management of project budget.

qualifications

  • Deep understanding and proven experience in social impact, corporate social responsibility and/or sustainability for a global brand
  • 8-10 years marketing and/or agency experience, or equivalent experience
  • A university degree in Business or Marketing is preferred
  • Apparel and/or Footwear industry experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to create comprehensive presentation decks. Passionate storyteller that is comfortable presenting, collaborating and rallying cross functional groups
  • Adaptable and agile, with ability to juggle changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude in the face of changing deliverables or business needs
  • Experience using analytics and performance data to inform priorities and deliver results.
  • Successful experience and proven ability to work well with others across the business.
  • An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual who has their pulse on the future of marketing.

Compensation and Benefits Package
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $103,500 - $135,900 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.

In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
