Position Title : Senior Building Services Engineer
Work Location/Term : Riyadh, KSA / Full-time
Supervision : Design review and Supervision, Site Management
In Absence Replaced By : Senior Project Manager / Building Service Engineer
Reports to : Construction Director

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a Senior Building Services Engineer in large-scale construction projects.
• Hands-on experience in MEP design, installation supervision, and quality control processes.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection, within the context of international PMC contracts.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations, particularly as they pertain to MEP installations.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and project management tools.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• Language Skills: English is mandatory.
• Professional Experience: 15 years of experience in MEP design and supervision; Minimum 5 years in a managerial role.
• Other Skills:
• Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal & written).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a systematic approach to project management.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to ensuring the highest quality of building services.

• Review and approve MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) designs submitted by consultants, ensuring they meet project requirements, local regulations, and international best practices.
• Oversee the installation of MEP systems on-site, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with architects and structural engineers to ensure the seamless integration of building services into the overall project design.
• Implement quality control procedures for MEP installations, including testing and commissioning of systems.
• Address and resolve technical issues related to MEP systems during the construction phase.
• Ensure that all building services comply with relevant local regulations, codes, and standards.
