Description:
We are seeking a senior level Business Analyst to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA for a 12-month contract in a hybrid environment. If you possess 5+ years of BA experience at the enterprise level supporting migrations of file transfers following SFTP protocols, please apply today!
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience at enterprise level
- 4+ years of experience supporting file transfer migrations following SFTP protocols
- Previous project experience following NDM protocols supporting data transfers between different systems required
- Previous experience using BizManager for secure file transfers required
- Bachelors degree preferred
Responsibilities:
- Lead the analysis and documentation of migration requirements, acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for BizManager, Sterling File Gateway, Connect, Connect, and Sterling Control Center.
- Capture and document detailed requirements for migrating systems and processes to ensure a smooth transition.
- Facilitate and manage file transfer protocols, providing strong support for SFTP, HTTPS, and NDM to ensure secure and efficient data transfer during the migration.
- Manage encryption protocols like PGP to protect sensitive data throughout the migration process.
- Perform in-depth technical troubleshooting and problem investigation for issues related to file transfer, encryption, and network connectivity across platforms, including z/OS, Unix, Linux, and Windows.
- Support migration activities in ServiceNow by tracking and managing tasks, incidents, and changes, ensuring that all technical and business requirements are met.
- Collaborate with network teams to ensure proper network topology, connectivity methods, and load-balancer/proxy solutions are in place, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless data flow during the migration.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the successful migration of data and systems, including testing file transfers, encryption, and network configurations across multiple environments.
- Provide technical training and ongoing support to end-users and stakeholders, ensuring they are fully equipped to operate the new systems post-migration.
- Create documentation and knowledge articles to facilitate user adoption and system optimization after the migration.
