THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Senior Business Analyst - Data & Reporting at Scape, you will be a key member of the Technology Team, focusing on translating business needs into technical mappings for the Data & Analytics team. Your role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, creating wireframes and prototypes, and ensuring that data & reporting solutions align with business objectives. You will translate business needs into technical mappings and work closely with technical teams to ensure that data and reporting solutions are accurately implemented and meet the strategic goals of the organization.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficiency with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Familiarity with Power Platform tools and Snowflake Streamlit apps.
• Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities in data & analytics.
• Experience in data-centric IT solutions, especially in data analytics or reporting.
• Exposure to the hospitality, accommodation, or development sectors is advantageous.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail in documenting and conveying requirements.
• Ability to work effectively in a small team and collaborate well with others.
• A good understanding of data engineering principles is a plus.

• Requirements Gathering: Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to document business needs for data and reporting.
• Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders at all levels and collaborate within the Data & Analytics team to handle evolving requirements.
• Wireframes & Prototypes: Develop wireframes and prototypes to visualize data concepts and user interfaces.
• Requirement Translation: Convert business requirements into technical mappings, coordinating with technical teams for accurate implementation.
• Continuous Improvement: Implement change management processes and feedback mechanisms for ongoing enhancements.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with emerging data sources and techniques to enhance analytical capabilities.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation to support effective communication and project alignment.
• Support: Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for data and analytics-related queries and issues.
