ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst - Cyber to join the Essential Energy Cyber Security Resilience team (in the Digital Services Division) in a 12-month fixed term position.
It is preferred that this role will be based in Port Macquarie (with the ability to work from home in a hybrid work environment), but locations within the Essential Energy footprint will also be considered.
Reporting to the Manager Solution Design and Engineering, the Senior Business Analyst will be an integral part of a project team focused on high level commercial business intelligence and management expertise to support overall performance management, business development and improvement initiatives.
The Senior Business Analyst is further responsible for the provision of comprehensive strategic advice and recommendations to Senior and Executive management relating to analysis, planning and reporting processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • The role involves preparing high-level analysis and critical network reporting to drive business efficiencies, improve productivity, and reduce costs across the Division.
  • Define and manage business requests for Cyber Security Resilience project, document requirements, and collaborate with internal leaders to prioritize and deliver data services strategically.
  • Act as the key point of contact for complex problem solving, technical, financial and forecasting advice relating to reporting within the Senior Leadership team.
  • Conduct thorough research to create consistent metrics, including lead and lag indicators, to effectively track Divisional performance against objectives.
  • Create and manage a database of project documents for easy access and retrieval.
  • Offer expertise to ensure business continuity and mentor Division personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Produce and/or update process documentation across all areas of Identity Management (IAM, IGA, PAM)
  • Analyse existing apps integrated to our current IAM platform (Okta) to understand how they are currently supported so that can be setup/migrated to the new platform.
  • Deliver market documentation for procurement of a Systems Integrator.
